Handing over vehicles to P.H.U. MIK PIOSIK
New MAN TGX’s go from REDOS to the Customer
In the office of REDOS, MAN authorized service partner, a celebration of handing over 6 MAN TGX tractor units to the transportation company P.H.U. MIK PIOSIK Spółka Jawna was held. During the meeting, Krzysztof Piosik and his sons were given the keys to their vehicles by Arkadiusz Pankowski, President of REDOS, and Sławomir Jankowiak, representative of the producer, MAN Truck & Bus Polska.
P.H.U. MIK PIOSIK is a regular customer of REDOS. Our cooperation in the field of purchasing as well as servicing commercial vehicles began practically at the very beginning of both companies. Currently, Piosik administers a fleet of more than 60 vehicles, mainly MAN, and employs more than 100 people, which makes it one of the largest transport companies in the region. An important element of the company’s activity is refrigerated transport. As the owner emphasizes, transporting temperature-sensitive products forces to use reliable vehicles – hence the decision to choose MAN vehicles.
In the TÜV 2014 report on commercial vehicles, MAN stands out, the third year in a row, as a producer of trucks with the lowest number of detected failures, the trucks being granted with the title of “The Most Reliable Truck in 2012, 2013, 2014”. This confirms the top quality of trucks produced by MAN.
The purchased MAN TGX 18.440 tractor units are the next MAN Euro 6 vehicles which have strengthened the fleet of MIK PIOSIK. Under this order, 6 tractors were supplied with a XLX cab offering maximum comfort and optimal freedom of movement in the long-distance international traffic. They have also been equipped with six cylinder Common Rail engines with the power of 440PS. The vehicles are covered with a guarantee and servicing contracts.
